Meds Cafe Gaylord Cannabis Dispensary
Cannabis shop in Gaylord, Michigan
Open since 2024 — central Gaylord cannabis shop with easy I-75 access, a full deli-style flower counter, and strong vape and edible options.
Meds Cafe Gaylord is the newest addition to the Meds Cafe family, open since 2024. Located in central Gaylord near I-75, we operate in a market made possible by the 2021 Gaylord City Council vote to legalize cannabis businesses — a vote cast in part by Al Witt, a former cannabis caregiver who Meds Cafe CEO Joshua Covert once defended in court. Shop deli-style flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, and concentrates with a team that has deep roots in Gaylord's cannabis story.

Rooted in Gaylord's cannabis history — open since 2024
Meds Cafe Gaylord opened in 2024 as the seventh location in a brand that traces its roots to 2019. But our connection to Gaylord goes deeper. In 2014, cannabis caregivers here were raided and prosecuted. One of them, Al Witt, was later elected to city council and voted to legalize cannabis businesses in 2021. His defense attorney? Joshua Covert — now CEO of Meds Cafe. This store exists because of the people who fought for legalization, not just the market that followed.
